ABOUT ME
Hi, I am Matt Larson and I honestly kind of stumbled into this profession but now that I have, I love doing it! I have been helping people to build homes or add onto their existing homes as the owner of Matthew Larson Homes now for over 5 years but have been working in and around the home building industry for about 10 years now. I have been honored and privileged to be allowed to play an intricate part in People's lives, helping them to build through the process of building their dream home, either by creating it from scratch or adding onto or changing around what they already have, to better accommodate their needs and desires. I love experiencing the joy people get out of seeing their vision come to reality once it is built and have made lasting relationships with customers and their families'. New Construction
Building a new house or residential property from the ground up. This encompasses everything from initial site preparation and foundation work to framing, electrical and plumbing installation, interior and exterior finishes, and landscaping. I can build a set of plans you have already had drawn up or I can refer you to one of the drafter/designers I work with or help you to find a plan that fits you and your family's needs and desires. Whatever is your preferred course of action is the one I will take to start your journey on the road to creating and owning your dream home.
Remodels
Not to be confused with renovations which is simply updating a space; ie a kitchen or bathroom, a remodel entails changing the space in a house such as knocking down walls to expand a space or building new walls to section off and create new rooms. From knocking down 1 wall to knocking down or adding several, moving or adding electrical and or plumbing and anything beyond I can help you achieve your goals for whatever function you are trying to achieve in your remodel. From adding a bathroom to combining a small kitchen and breakfast nook to be one spacious kitchen with a large kitchen island, let your imagination guide you.
Additions
Construction of new sections or expansions to an existing home or property. By adding additions you are creating entirely new spaces such as garages, additonal wings to the home, or In-law suites. Additions involve building new walls, floors, and roofs that seamlessly integrate with the existing structure. They may also require modifications to the home's utilities, such as plumbing, heating, and electrical systems, to accommodate the new space. Additions are a popular way to increase living space, enhance functionality, and add value to a home without the need to undertake the hassel and burden of moving.

When I first started in business I only built new homes, however over the last couple of years I have started doing additions and remodels and every single customer I have worked with has told me the same thing. They say, "Ive talked to other contractors, but no one will show up." Here, at Matthew Larson Homes I can assure you, "I will show up!" I only take on as many jobs as I can handle because my current customers are my priority and I want to be sure I can give them the best service possible without spreading myself or my associates too thin, but if I cannot take on another job I will tell you that. I will not commit to showing up unless I am going to show up! I put my name on the business because I take pride in what I do and I care about my reputation and that is why I warranty all my projects for a full year and while I am not perfect I go out of my way to make sure my customers are happy and get what they pay for!
